Digetic and Nondigetic Sound |

The assignment was to create a piece that dealt with
sound in some fashion. An easy explanation of digetic sound is "on screen"
sound, and nondigetic sound is "off screen" sound. Keeping that in mind, we
were to create a piece that use strategic use of sound as a medium to
experiment in. So I gathered many sound clips from movies and edited them
together into a odd linear fashion. I also fashioned them with some field
recordings that I had collected. |

Sleepy Hollow, Alien, Dazed and Confused, The Rock, The Terminator, and
James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies. |
